I appreciate your interest in working with me on your project! While every project and every client is unique, I’ve found that there are some basic questions and concerns that are universal. So, I’ve tried to address as many as possible in this short Voice Over Rates document. If you have other specific questions, which are not addressed here, please feel free to ask! Your comments and special requests are always welcomed!

Rates:

While I have tried to create a basic rate sheet from time to time, there always seem to be special circumstances that crop up. It is most helpful for me to have as much information as possible about your project in order to give you a firm quote:

1. How is your script going to be used? Is it:
   1. Commercial – radio, TV, internet, other
   2. Corporate Narration – internal company use only, business to business, point of purchase, direct mail
   3. On Hold, Phone messaging, IVR, Phone broadcast sales
   4. Web Narration or Pod Cast
   5. E-learning, Tutorial, Educational
   6. TV Promo, Station ID, Program
   7. Radio Imaging
2. What is the length of your script?
3. If it is a Commercial, where will it air and how long will it be used?
4. Will I be creating multiple files in the case of Narrations, E-learning, etc.

Turnaround:

I usually turn around Voice Over projects within 24 hours or less depending on when your project arrives and how full my schedule is on that particular day. I will always give you my most accurate estimate, and I will often be able to turn short projects around during the same day.

Style:

It is most helpful for me to have an understanding of the vocal style that you are looking for. Be as descriptive as possible. If you heard specific cuts from my demos that are closest to what you want it is extremely helpful to let me know which one (s). It will help me to recreate that for you. However, it is very important for you to understand that my demos are created from actual work I have done. Some have been produced by me in my studio and others were produced in a variety of different studios using different microphones, music and effects. I can definitely recreate the style, but not necessarily the exact effects or music of that specific example.

Payment:

I prefer to send a Paypal invoice to be paid by credit card prior to releasing the entire voice file. I send a portion of the work to you for approval, of course, and I will be happy to correct any mistakes on my part at no extra charge if any are discovered after sending the complete files. If the client decides to make copy changes or decides on a completely different vocal style after the original files are recorded, there is an additional minimum charge. If you don't already have a Paypal account, upon receiving your invoice, it's very easy to follow the prompts to set one up. If that is absolutely out of the question, please let me know and most likely a regular invoice can be issued.
