Acting in The Hen House, Worldfest, UT Honors

This week is certainly a mixed bag of events! Tonight, I have a play reading of The Hen House, a very character rich play written by Bo Brinkman who is also the writer/director/star of The Last Mark, a film I’m in that is an official selection of and screening at Worldfest-Houston on Thursday night.  On a personal note, on Friday my youngest son is being honored at a ceremony at UT Austin for his outstanding work as a Computer Science major. Needless to say, we’re very proud.

This is a very different week than my usual voice over week working from my studio and not setting foot off the property. 🙂 It’s kind of nice to shake things up. Seems like there are changes coming, a new chapter, which always brings a mixed set of emotions: excitement, anticipation, and some trepidation. But, that’s what life is all about, isn’t it? A routine can be very comforting, but it can also be a rut, and being forced out of it or climbing out of it brings new delights and new challenges.
